Pair Introductions - Lower Levels

Need an icebreaking activity for the first day of class? Then how about this Introductions activity. Get students into pairs, and have them ask each other the questions on the sheet. Then students introduce their partner to the rest of the class. The activity sheet provides structure to help low level students.

This ‘Find Someone Who’ Icebreaker activity is perfect for Elementary level. Students must practice their question forming so they can ask the other students in the class.  A great class mingle activity or the first day of class. 

Classmate Bingo! - Pre-intermediate Level

This ‘Classmate BINGO!’ Icebreaker activity is perfect for Pre-intermediate level. Students must use closed questions to ask fellow students  about the prompts on the sheets. If a students responds with ‘yes’, they can fill the square. Get a line and its ‘Bingo!’ Get 3 lines, and they can sit down. This is an extrememly popular great class mingle activity which I always use on the first day of class.

Who Are You ...? - Icebreaker - A1

This is a great icebreaker for low level (A1) classes. The simple questions provide support for low level beginners. However, stronger ability students can be asked to come up with their own question at the bottom. Students choose 3 students to ask questions to while in pairs, writing their answers on the sheet.
