Then this Past Simple board game is just what you need – perfect for ESL adults and teens. It will get them talking about the past and practicing those tricky regular and irregular verb forms in the affirmative. The speaking prompts are designed so forming questions can be avoided. Your students do not need to know past simple question forms to do this activity.

Past Simple Board Game
Are you teaching a lesson about Experiences using the Present Perfect Tense and need a speaking activity to help your students practice? Then this ESL board game is just what you need. In groups students take turns asking each other questions about experiences. They will also practice switching to the simple past when asking for or giving more information.
